Walking with Others: Carrying Burdens in the Marketplace
Every morning before the meetings begin, before the decisions are made, before the pressure of the day sets in — there is a moment. A quiet threshold between who you were yesterday and who God is calling you to be today.
Galatians 6:2 calls us to carry each other’s burdens. In the marketplace, this looks different than we might expect. It is not always a formal act of service. Sometimes it is simply choosing to listen when a colleague is struggling. It is paying attention to the person across the table, not just the agenda in front of you.
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2
As you enter your workday today, ask yourself: Whose burden can I help carry? Not as a task on your to-do list, but as an act of love.
